Dressage & Hunter/Jumper Playday
Information
- Dressage and Hunter/Jumper playdays are informal, casual, and friendly. Eaach schooling show or playday varies in format depending on the show manager. Participants are encouraged to sign up early for time slots convenient for their busy lifestyle and travel needs.
- All dressage and hunter/jumper participants/substitutes are encouraged to help set up and take down arena/jumps. Helmets must be worn if jumping. Jumping courses are set up after dressage. if desired, we can shorten the dressage arena to accommodate Eventing tests.
- Current USDF and USEA dressage tests may be ridden with a reader. You are welcome to wear/utilize schooling attire and equipment during your test. Muscial Kur riders, please provide your own music. You may wear a costume if desired.
- Playdays are designed to give you and your horse experience in a standard or short dressage arena, and hunter/jumper courses. You may sign up for as many time slots as available, even back to back. Your instructor/coach is welcome to "school" you during this time. Remember that dressage is first, followed by jumping.
- Overnight stabling and camping is available on grounds for nominal fees. Please refer to "Appleatchee Schooling Show Fees".
Practice/Playday Fees:
- Appleachee members: $5.00 per 10 minutes
- Non-members: $7.00 per 10 minutes
