Important Show and General

Information Please Read

RIDERS ARE ALLOWED TO RIDE ADDITIONAL CLASSES in a session, such as English Equitation Beginner and then again in English Equitation intermediate, but they will only be judged in one class.  They must ride without their number or have their number turned over during the non-instructor/judged class.  Entrants may also ride another horse (or two) in separate classes within a session but must pay the appropriate entry fees and sign that horse up separately with a separate number and entry form.

SHOW CLOTHES are not required, but attire must be neat and clean.  Long riding pant/jeans are required.  Shirts, neat with tails tucked in.  Boots are required.  Helmets are required in all over fence classes and for all riders under the age of 18 years old that are riding in English flat classes.  Helmets are required in all other classes unless participant signs the Appleatchee Liability Release and Indemnification form, which will be at the show office.

BITS:  Snaffle bits, Hackamores and two handed reining in Western classes are allowed for schooling.

STALLIONS are permitted but only if handled by a senior exhibitor (over the age of 18) and with the prior permission of the show management.

ENTRIES will be accepted the day of the show only.  No pre-show entry is required.

SHOW MANAGEMENT has the right to refuse entry to anyone who displays an objectionable attitude, offensive language or unsportsmanlike behavior.

AWARDS:  Flat ribbons for first thru eighth place may be awarded.  Those exhibitors wishing to recycle their flat ribbons are encouraged to return them to the show office.

SESSIONS:  Afternoon session may start as early as 11am

SCHOOLING SHOW FEES:  It is our hope that by keeping entry fees at a very reasonable amount, participants may participate in a number of classes and continue to develop their riding skills.

STALLS:  Stalls are available for day and night use.  Arrangements must be made in advance with the show office.  Please check the fee schedule in this premium for costs.
